- The aim of the project work is to develop a research proposal starting from your research interests (the students will be assigned to groups, more information will follow).
–Freedom in the topic, but
–It must be set in a complex system (Paolo Trucco’s Lesson)
–Using Big Data
- The final output will be presented at the end of the week (10 minutes for each group)
- Steps in the project work:
- Define a research question and your reference decision maker(s)
- Clarify which is your reference complex system (and explain why it is a complex system)
- Identify the research methodology (theoretical underpinning; phases; methods)
- Identify your Big Data and how and why they add value to your research methodology
- Analyze data quality issues
- Clearly state the value you create for decision maker(s)
