TITLE

Supporting resilience to climate-related hazards and natural disasters through the combination of social media, geographical and heterogeneous data

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The goal of the project is to develop a prototype, based on existing data sources and tools, aimed at supporting resilience against natural disasters. The focus is on understanding how different sources of data (social media, news, forecasting and warning systems), can be integrated in order to enhance monitoring and  warning capabilities. The project is related to indicators of United Nations SDG 13 (Climate change) and is proposed within the Crowd4SDG project.
